We need someone to help us build seriously cool things. Yes, we only build cool things! We’re looking for someone who lives (and loves) creating cool web apps. Someone who is obsessive around cool web apps and web sites. musiXmatch has recently reached over 1 mln (still growing) users with its Lyrics app, and it’s a good description. We’re a very well-funded European company with tons of buzz, based in a place with the highest quality of life in the world: Italy… all making us the world’s largest Official Lyrics Catalogue . You’ll work directly with our Apps Team, amazing engineering team, and our CEO, to have a direct hand in bringing all of musiXmatch’s products a new, clean, intuitive interface. Check out our iPhone app for the best idea of where we’re headed with (and where you can help take) all our products. Bottom line, your work will be seen and used by millions of users every day. So you can brag about it ! What we’re looking for:

a strong programming background
exceedingly clean hand-coded HTML, CSS, and Javascript (with or without jQuery)
ability to work semi-independently

Big bonus points if you have:

knowledge of PHP
good taste in creating wonderful UI
basic knowledge of the advertising market
experience in the music business
Passionate about music

The ideal candidate will be able to work in our italian office in Bologna However, if you’re really good, working remotely from anywhere in Europe is a possibility as long as you keep in contact during regular hours and you’re willing to travel periodically (a few times each month) to Bologna or London.
